Basefall is a competitive multiplayer real-time strategy where lane-based battles unfold in real time across multiple fronts. Engage in intense 1v1 or coordinated 2v2 duels where every match evolves as you play. Spawn units, unlock spells, and draft powerful upgrades mid-battle as you push toward the enemy base.

Key mechanics keep you in constant motion: there are no turns, no downtime—only momentum, adaptation, and smart decisions under pressure. Three lanes, each defended by towers, shape the map and the flow of combat. To reach the enemy base you must first breach the defenses, but every push creates new vulnerabilities you can exploit elsewhere. Control space, apply pressure, and force mistakes.

Modes

Competitive 1v1 pits you in fast-paced head-to-head duels where tactical outplays trump brute force. 2v2 Team Mode emphasizes strategic coordination, shared pressure, and shifting population control across three lanes as you defend and attack with a partner.

Dynasty Mode offers mid-match drafting with randomized choices to shape your army and spell loadout as the game unfolds. Draft Mode lets you pre-build your loadout before battle and unlock it progressively using XP.

Progression and Upgrades

You start lean—begin with a single unlocked unit and grow by earning XP through combat and tower damage. During battles you unlock additional units, wards, and spells, and you choose from randomized upgrade options at key moments. The Dynamic Upgrade Shop lets you stack buffs like burn, lifesteal, shields, slows, and damage buffs, and it enables you to empower specific unit types to create unexpected synergies.

There are no fixed builds or scripted metas. Every match becomes a new strategic puzzle as you adapt to counter your opponent and outdraft them. The evolving builds, randomized upgrades, and shifting battlefield pressure deliver high replayability where no two games play the same.
