Magic Moon description

Magic Moon

A cozy life sim mystery about lost magic, small-town second chances, and a former magical girl rebuilding her life. Move to Moon Stone, a quiet island village, make friends, solve mysteries, manage debt, and rediscover your magic at your own pace.

Hana Cho—formerly the magical girl Halcyon Beguiler—is twenty-four, powerless, and buried under debt after a disastrous battle. With health coverage and city life pressing in, she and her loyal assistant Abby abandon the metropolis for Moon Stone, where her grandmother once lived. The island exudes charm, secrets, and a stubborn sense that it knows more than it says.

Build a new life on Moon Stone by settling into a cozy community that blends beaches, forests, and mountain trails with quirky shops and hidden histories. Restore Hana’s grandmother’s house into a warm, personal space filled with handmade décor, books, and keepsakes. Organize Hana’s daily routine with Abby, take on local work, pursue personal goals, and navigate the realities of debt, recovery, and starting over.

Meet and befriend a memorable cast of locals—inventors, artists, herbalists, witches, doctors, designers, baristas, ranchers, and former magical girls. Develop friendships, unlock personal storylines, and discover how each character shapes life on the island as you uncover Moon Stone’s gentle oddities.

Adventure comes in calming, investigative form: track down missing items, investigate strange rumors, help townsfolk with unusual problems, and follow a deeper mystery surrounding Hana’s lost magic. The island’s mysteries weave through everyday life, offering a warm, curious tone with eerie supernatural edges.

As Hana reconnects with Moon Stone, fragments of her power begin to stir again. Recovery comes gradually through memory, relationships, exploration, and the island’s hidden past. What seems like a routine magical-girl disaster may tie to something far larger—artificial intelligence, extradimensional knowledge, and forces not fully understood.

Why you’ll love it: a cozy island life with mystery at its core, a former magical girl rebuilding after burnout, rich relationship-driven storytelling, home restoration and customization, light gathering and crafting, and a warm, emotionally grounded tone that never shies from wonder. Magic Moon is a cozy mystery with heart—welcome home.
