Royal Flush Defense is a unique blend of Poker, Tower Defense, and roguelike elements. You are dealt five cards and can exchange as many as you want once. Your final five-card hand becomes the tower you place on the map to defend against incoming enemy waves. As the game progresses, you can merge towers that share the same hand to form the next stronger hand, and you can upgrade towers to gain special abilities. The goal is to work your way toward a Royal Flush while surviving the onslaught.

• Hands become towers: Your poker hand directly determines the tower type. Place it strategically to create chokepoints and maximize damage on the advancing foes.
• Merging and upgrading: Merge towers of the same hand to upgrade to the next tier. If luck isn’t on your side, you can still climb in power by merging towers to a higher tier, pushing your defenses to the next level.

There are ten base towers, each representing a different poker hand, and every tower can be upgraded to unlock special abilities. This combination of card strategy and defensive placement creates deep, tactical gameplay that rewards planning and improvisation alike.

Explore dozens of maps and unlock new layouts as you progress. Build mazes for enemies to navigate, shaping the path to your strongest towers and forcing tougher decisions about where to place and upgrade. A wide range of unlockable upgrades adds variety and customization, ensuring every run feels fresh.

Difficulty settings and modifiers further tailor the challenge, offering a fresh feel and balance for each level. After clearing a level for the first time, you can test your skill in infinity mode and survive as long as possible.

You don’t need to know poker to play—hands are learned quickly, and you’ll soon instinctively know which formations and combinations are strongest. At the end of every run, view detailed stats, with insights across all your games to track progress and performance.
