Little Embers

Little Embers is a strategic turn-based deckbuilding roguelike where every card you place matters. The world is freezing and the great hearthfires are nearly gone. You are one of the Little Embers—a foxfolk guardian carrying a fragment of the last surviving flame.

Core gameplay centers on building and executing a precise deck while navigating a grid-based battlefield. Each run challenges you to gain new cards by beating levels, unlocking chests, and buying them from encountered shops. As you assemble your arsenal, you must construct synergies, manage your positioning, and trigger powerful combos. Some cards reward adjacency, others require exact patterns. A single move can cascade into explosive turns—or lead to a total collapse—so every placement tests your foresight.

Choose one of three distinct classes, each with its own starting deck and unique play style. As the frost deepens, formidable bosses emerge that push you to adapt, rethink your grid, and endure under mounting pressure.

Each run reshapes your deck with new cards, relics, and modifiers. You’ll need careful planning, calculated risk, and spatial awareness to keep the flame alive. The longer you survive, the more you uncover about the world, expand your strategic toolkit, and discover new paths through increasingly challenging encounters.
