RAMMBOCK is a stylish 2D shoot-em-up built around a melee-first weapon called RAMM!. You pilot the RAMMBOCK, the last machine capable of tipping the balance between two moons at war. The story follows Briar, a determined pilot; Luci, a fierce resistance member; and Cal, a mechanic who keeps the machine humming as the conflict unfolds. Across neon battlegrounds, your choices decide whether the war ends in unity or ruin.

Core combat fuses gunplay with brutal close-quarters power. You control four core actions in real time: Laser, RAMM, Rush, and Burst. Each option reshapes the fight, and you can cancel attacks to weave fast, satisfying melee sequences. RAMM enemies into one another to trigger chain bonuses, then watch your Rank climb and your chain multiplier soar—up to 15x. The tempo is a blend of precision shooting and ruthless melee tempo, rewarding timing, positioning, and relentless aggression.

Progression unfolds on a mission board that guides your journey. Complete tasks to unlock art, lore, and mods that tune the RAMMBOCK’s abilities. Mods reshape how you approach fights, add new effects, and unlock Hyper moves such as RAMMBOOM, giving you extra layers of strategy. Some options even grant additional lives to survive tougher runs. The system motivates you to tailor your ship to your preferred playstyle, whether you chase consistent precision or dive into high-risk, high-reward chaos.

RAMMBOCK also invites competition with a Score Attack mode and global leaderboards. Enter your name, chase high scores, and prove your mastery against the best. Visually, the game embraces 2D hand-drawn artistry with anime-inspired animation, created entirely by human artists and musicians. The aesthetic is paired with a vertical screen orientation (Tate), delivering a tall, immersive view that emphasizes fast moves and tight dodges.

The experience is designed to grow. Planned updates include Co-op play and additional levels, expanding missions and expanding ways to experiment with loadouts.
