Ice Slider, a puzzle adventure from Shining Watermelon Studios, invites you to guide Rob, a hardy hiker, into the Icy Cave. This frozen maze is a gauntlet of ice puzzles where your goal is simple in name but tricky in execution: find the exit by navigating a shifting ice environment.

Gameplay at a Glance

Each level presents a fresh layout built around a core set of mechanics. You’ll encounter Walls that form the static boundaries of the cave, offering paths you must discover and compound. Dirt slows your progress, stopping Rob in his tracks and forcing you to rethink your route. The challenge intensifies with two specialized tile types:

• Move Tiles: When Rob steps onto these tiles, they spin him in their specified direction. Their movement can push you across key corridors or redirect you toward new areas of the map.
• Rotate Tiles: These tiles spin Rob, with the amount and direction of rotation tied to their current orientation. The result is a twist in Rob’s path that can open new routes or block others, depending on how you approach them.

The combination of Walls, Dirt, Move Tiles, and Rotate Tiles creates a diverse set of puzzles. Each level requires planning, precise timing, and careful observation as you map a path to the exit. The challenge lies in anticipating tile interactions and choosing the right sequence of moves to progress.

Ice Slider features a cohesive campaign of puzzles set within the Icy Cave. The game includes 30 base levels, each presenting new configurations and twists on the established mechanics. As you advance, you’ll encounter increasingly intricate layouts that test your ability to leverage walls, dirt, and the motion tiles to reach the exit.
