Quaxum — A New Space Age Arcade Shooter

A retro arcade shooter that throws you into a colorfully chaotic battle to defend the galaxy. Your mission is to shield the Planetary Defense Shield (PDS) from the Klaxxack invasion while piloting through waves of hostile ships and dangerous formations.

Core gameplay

Balance keeping the PDS powered with energy cards and buying upgrades to wipe out enemy waves.
Defend, shoot, and survive as you push back the Klaxxack threat across the galaxy.
Collect Zero Quantum Field (ZQF) energy cards to boost your rank within the Space Corps and unlock better gear.

Upgrades and abilities

Ship upgrades and new armor to increase HP and survivability.
Special abilities like Cloud Warping to drop a safe point and re-enter danger zones, plus crowd-control and defensive tools.
Power up attacks with a variety of weapons: Drill to cut through lines of enemies, Bombs for explosive area denial, and Arrow Heads for multi-directional strikes.

Progression and rewards

Rank up as you gather ZQF cards, earning new insignia and access to fresh gear and abilities.
Persistent progression that rewards skill and exploration as you climb the ranks of the Space Corps.

Story

You are the last Knight of the Quaxum Space Corps, entrusted with defending the galaxy using a prototype Planetary Defense Shield. As the Klaxxack army advances, you travel the stars in a desperate mission to locate their king and end the invasion once and for all.
