Galactic Realms: Quest for the Forgotten description
Galactic Realms: Quest for the Forgotten
A first-person, 1–4 player co‑op dungeon crawler and PvE‑only extraction RPG where dark fantasy meets forgotten technology. Gear up in a shared, persistent underground realm, then descend into a shifting dimensional rift dungeon powered by the Galactic Grid Matrix™, a modular system that stitches handcrafted zones into new layouts for every expedition.
- Dynamic expeditions: Every run rewrites its layout. Routes, room connections, encounters, loot outcomes, and modifiers shuffle from a rotating pool of handcrafted zones, all reconnected through the grid logic so no two runs are the same.
- Risk and reward: Decide how far to push for rarer loot or extract before the dungeon takes it back. What you extract may be kept; everything else risks being lost.
- Time‑boxed or long crawls: Play for 20 minutes or 20 hours. Jump in for quick extraction or stay for a deep, evolving crawl.
- No pay‑to‑win: No microtransactions, no loot boxes, no premium currency, and no paid boosts. Power comes from gameplay, skill, teamwork, and smart decisions.
Prepare your loadout and your Drake in the underground realm. Drakes aren’t cosmetic pets—they are companions with their own stats, combat identity, and growth that evolves with you. Each Drake offers elemental resistances, strengths, and vulnerabilities that matter in battle, and they unlock distinct playstyles as you progress.
Progression emphasizes mastery over grind. You don’t pick a fixed class; your abilities, equipment, and choices shape how your character plays over time. Skills evolve through use, initial stat points guide your focus, and progress is defined by what you earn and survive with. Extracted gear and artifacts carry forward to strengthen your next run.
The underground realm is persistent between expeditions, a mini‑MMO style world with its own town, surrounding zones, and sprawling cave networks. A player‑driven economy, vendors, questing, and loadout prep encourage planning and collaboration. Open PvE camps, roaming threats, and contested areas keep the danger constant beyond the town.
The light that governs the surface world reshapes what you find below, altering enemies and landscapes. Planned expansions will bring more zones, new cave networks, world events, and major threats that rally the community—from housing districts to long‑term identity systems. Some features are planned for future updates with timing shared by official announcements.
This is a living cavern realm: open to multiple parties, with raids and invasions on the horizon. Your power comes from cooperation, tactical decisions, and the willingness to risk for greater rewards.
