You will face over 500 events shaped by your actions: conspiracies in hush-wushed corridors, poisoned feasts, sieges, alliances with witches, and duels fought in the rain. The game is structured as The Bastard's Fate, divided into three chapters that together tell the rise, turmoil, and culmination of a kingdom restored after the father’s death. Each chapter marks a distinct phase—your first days in power, the chaos of intrigue and war, and the climactic finale—and the events, decisions, and consequences of one chapter directly shape the next. Your choices accumulate, forging a unique fate for the kingdom and a chapter-end that influences the final confrontation.

Meet a vibrant and complex cast, each with their own ambitions, secrets, weaknesses, and motives. You’ll encounter power-hungry barons, loyal (or unreliable) knights, cunning spies, envoys from distant lands, priests, merchants, devoted advisors, poisoners, prophets, and representatives of other races. They react to your orders in varied ways—some become steadfast allies, others betray you at the worst moment, some sacrifice themselves for your cause, and others seize opportunities you never anticipated.
