Traveloot is a run-based incremental adventure that centers on exploration, team building, and upgrades. You set sail across four distinct islands, each with its own biome, enemies, and resources. The core loop is repeatable and rewarding: dive into a run, collect materials, defeat foes, and invest in upgrades that push your crew farther on the next expedition. With every journey you grow stronger, unlocking new options and strategies for future runs.

As you travel, you’ll recruit adventurers with unique abilities to assemble a team that fits your plan. Up to eight companions can join your roster, and you’ll decide who travels with you on each run. Some characters excel at gathering, others unleash powerful combos, while others bolster defenses or support the squad. The right mix matters for each island and its evolving threats, inviting continuous experimentation and strategic choice.

Progression is driven by a branching upgrade tree that reshapes how you play. Pick upgrades that improve your team, unlock new abilities, and enhance individual skills. Your toolkit grows across runs, so persistent upgrades compound and unlock fresh playstyles. The game emphasizes tactical planning, adaptive execution, and rewards for thoughtful exploration as you tackle increasingly challenging expeditions.

Traveloot supports solo play or local couch co-op. Team up with a friend to gather resources, defeat enemies, and progress through upgrades together, sharing the thrill of each decision and victory. Controller and mouse input are supported, ensuring comfortable play in either mode.
