Random Chaos Dungeon description

Random Chaos Dungeon is a roguelike built around a high degree of randomness. Every facet of the run shuffles: enemy design, weapons, armor, the map layout, and even boss behavior.

Enemies come as sprites built from multiple parts, and those parts influence how they move, fight, and scale their stats. Weapons vary in speed, size, damage and carry numerous special effects, and all attacks—from both foes and players—are derived from these randomized armaments. Armor is likewise randomized across five slots, letting you stack a mix of effects for strategic defense.

Although the same areas appear each run, the exact layout changes, ensuring a fresh path every time. Bosses wield weapons with guaranteed special properties to give them a distinctive feel, and it’s even possible for the player to find and wield one of these legendary weapons.

Area zones and bosses come with their own self-made music, enhancing the atmosphere and pacing as you progress through each run.

Play solo or with up to four players. Enemies scale with the number of players, so teamwork feels meaningful. Support your friends with healing effects, and revive fallen teammates by consuming items or returning to a waypoint so everyone can keep playing. Decide roles, cooperate, and distribute loot to maximize your chances of success.

Combat supports both ranged and melee approaches. Observe enemies’ weapons to anticipate their attacks, use shields to deflect projectiles, parry melee strikes, or block damage outright. You can level up your max HP, arrows, or MP to suit your preferred playstyle. Consume items you don’t need to restore yourself and collect scrap to fund your journey.

Choose a difficulty level that suits your skill: Easy limits damage and offers infinite revives to keep trying until you beat the run; Normal increases damage with revives costing scrap; Hard raises damage further, reduces loot, and disables revives.

As you defeat bosses, you unlock special powers, and the world itself levels up, allowing access to stronger equipment. While you can upgrade equipment, it is often advantageous to swap to newer, stronger weapons you find along the way.

Each run typically lasts about 1–2 hours, but you can save at any time and resume later, preserving your progress as you climb the chaotic dungeon’s ever-shifting layers.
