K2-18b: Legacy description
K2-18b: Legacy invites you to step onto a distant world where mystery, science, and fate collide. Spanning a century of discovery, the game threads a gripping narrative from the initial Kepler discovery in 2015 to the first human expedition in 2057. In 2023 dimethyl sulfide is detected in K2-18b’s atmosphere; by 2025 biosignatures are confirmed, and by 2027 a radio signal of artificial origin hints at a hidden history. Earth suffers a humanitarian crisis in 2036, giving rise to the Ark Initiative, which over the next decade forges the first working Warp Drive. In 2047 a mission is approved, and in 2057 you depart as part of this initiative, stepping into the unknown when landing on K2-18b does not go to plan.
In this expedition you are drawn into an atmosphere of secrecy and discovery. You will journey through unusual labyrinths scattered across a world unlike any you have known, each corridor and chamber revealing fragments of a larger truth. The game centers on one clear mission: follow the trail from a remote edge of the exoplanet to the source of the enigmatic radio signal, and trace how humanity’s leap forward collided with ancient puzzles left behind on this alien shore.
