Morse Challenger

Morse Challenger is a casual shooting game that combines fast action with Morse code learning. Defend your homeland as alien ships flood the play area, and decode their letters to fire back. The game is designed to be easy to pick up, with most actions performed by simple taps and holds.

How to play

Each enemy ship shows a letter or number. Observe the symbol on the ship and input the matching Morse code sequence using the control panel. Entering the correct code locks onto the target, letting you launch an attack.

• Tap the largest "Tap" button (or press J) to input a dot (.)
• Hold the "Tap" button to input a dash (-)
• All letters and numbers are composed of dots and dashes
• Once locked on, you can fire by tapping the "Fire" button (or press Space) or wait for automatic firing

After you input the Morse code, a quick firing command can be issued: tap "Fire" or space, or let the system auto-fire after 2 seconds. You can adjust the auto-fire timing in settings via the challenge sensitivity option.

Combat and progression

Enemy ships continuously appear and charge toward your ship. If they collide, they self-destruct. Your ship has a shield that can absorb enemy bullets, but a self-destructing ship can still break through a shield. Manage your defenses while decoding Morse sequences to keep the line of defense intact.

Difficulty rises as your score increases, offering you chances to resupply and upgrade. During resupply you can choose an upgrade direction, using funds earned by destroying enemies. Upgrades enhance your ship or capabilities, but you must earn the money in battle to purchase them.

Game structure and goal

Morse Challenger follows a linear challenge mode where you progress through levels one by one. Several difficulty modes unlock in sequence as you complete each stage. The ultimate goal is to set higher score records by becoming more proficient with Morse code the more you play.
