Maestro
Maestro is a fast-paced first-person roguelite set inside a mysterious casino. You fight your way to the top by shooting cards, using abilities, and upgrading your deck through gambling. Each run invites you to craft a powerful card-based build that fits your playstyle as you chase victory in a neon, psychedelic world.
Explore three distinct floors of the casino, each with its own environment, enemies, and boss. On every floor you must survive six rooms before you reach the shop and face the boss. The visuals shift with the mood of the casino, intensifying the sense of risk and reward as you press toward the top.
Combat centers on firing cards and unleashing a suite of abilities. After every room, you choose between two routes, each offering a gain such as a new card, an active or passive ability, an upgrade, or money. Those split-path choices shape your build, so you’ll want to pick wisely to maximize damage, defense, and utility across runs. With a diverse pool of cards and abilities, you can craft multiple builds in a single run and tailor your approach to your preferred playstyle.
The shop rooms introduce Blackjack as a core upgrade mechanic: in the shop, you can play blackjack to upgrade any card you currently own. This blackjack system provides meaningful choices and synergizes with the cards you pick up along the way. In addition, you can visit upgrade rooms or destroy the golden slot machine to unlock upgrades such as damage boosts, increased maximum health, and more. Each upgrade changes how you approach encounters and boss fights, keeping your run fresh and unpredictable.
The casino setting is more than just cosmetic — it drives the pacing and risk-reward loops that define Maestro. Build paths emphasize synergy between cards, abilities, and upgrades. Will you focus on aggressive burst damage, sturdy survivability, or clever utility and control? The combination of shooting cards, gambling-enhanced progression, and floor-by-floor variety invites numerous builds and countless run variations, all leading to an epic showdown with each floor’s unique boss.
Maestro challenges you to master rhythm, resource management, and risk evaluation as you climb a three-floor casino map. Prepare for intense moments, neon-lit corridors, and boss battles that test your ability to adapt your deck on the fly. Your ascent to the top awaits—master the cards, conquer the casino, and claim your title.
