Core Concept

Tetrarchon is a turn-based 1v1 strategy card battler where you don't simply fight the opponent—you shape the battlefield. The arena is the resource, and victory comes from controlling a diamond-shaped web of zones. Each zone influences movement options, supply lines, and defensive bonuses, making terrain mastery the key to winning.

In-Combat: How the Board Decides the Fight

• Deterministic Combat: there are no dice rolls or random damage ranges. Outcomes come from deck synergies, unit stats, positioning, and skilled use of abilities, all governed by thresholds.
• Territorial Victory: capture Tactical Flank zones to sever enemy supply lines and to nullify defensive bonuses granted by the four Elemental Thrones. The player with stronger control across the board wins, not simply the one who lands the last hit.
• Elemental Surge: an ongoing rotation of elemental augments that powers up units matching the active element. Proper timing unlocks powerful buffs, shields, or attack boosts at pivotal moments.
• Unit Abilities and Tactics: employ Ambush to strike first from Flanks or deploy Siege units to crack heavy fortifications around Thrones, combining terrain with unit traits for decisive plays.

Out of Combat: Decks, Modes, and Progression

• Custom Deckbuilding: design and tailor your deck before each deployment to align with your chosen strategy and the current board state.
• PvE Campaign: a guided server-side tutorial against AI that teaches movement geometry, expansion timing with Mercenaries, and the Sacrifice economy while solving tactical puzzles.
• 1v1 Multiplayer: climb competitive online ladders by testing prepared decks and refined tactics against real opponents.
• Mercenaries and Economy: expand rapidly on the map with Mercenary units and manage Resource Sacrifice to fuel your war effort across turns.
