Industronaut description

Industronaut

You weren’t rescued. You weren’t forgotten. You were left behind when the main ship ran out of power and your pod never opened. Industronaut is a survival engineering game set on a hostile, radiation-heavy planet. You are the sole active engineer on the surface. There is no evacuation plan and no external support. Survival depends on building a self-sufficient habitat that can endure the harsh environment and keep you moving forward.

The core task is to craft a living, breathing base from the ground up. You will construct life support hubs that produce oxygen, food, and water, creating a dependable cycle of essentials. Hab modules are connected through corridors, doors, and functional rooms, allowing your base to grow into a complete living and industrial complex where every room has a purpose and every connection matters.

Mining is essential to progress. You’ll extract raw resources from the planet and feed them into evolving production chains. Each new system you build unlocks materials, machines, and possibilities, pushing your industrial network forward step by step. As you expand, you’ll design more efficient layouts, optimize throughput, and unlock higher tiers of automation and fabrication.

Automation sits at the heart of the experience. Drones can be deployed to scout ore deposits and manage logistics between machines and storage. When production scales up, coordinating resource flow and route planning becomes critical—your success hinges on smart placement, redundancy, and smooth operation across the entire network.

There is no combat focus and no scripted rescue. Progress comes from engineering decisions, thoughtful layouts, and continuous expansion. Every system you build exists to keep you alive, sustain your workforce if you create one, and push you toward new possibilities. The planet is hostile, but your habitat is the only safe place you have. If it works, you survive.
