You have been marked by a monster to be its next prey. Defend your cabin against the beast across the four seasons, listening out for its attacks to stop it before it gets inside. Complete tasks throughout the night to break the curse and return to a normal life. This game centers on spatial audio, so a good pair of headphones or stereo speakers is highly recommended.

Core mechanics

Sound is your weapon and your warning. The beast will whisper spells at your salt-line protected windows, attempting to slip inside. Listen carefully for its whispers, because once the wind from an opened window erodes the salt line, you’ll be left undefended. The creature will try to distract you or mask its noise, so you must stay aware of every corner and corridor to keep your home secure.

Defend through the four seasons

Survive each night as the seasons change your surroundings and challenge your perception. From fierce winds to raging thunderstorms, weather alters how sounds travel and what you must shield. Every season tests your vigilance, forcing you to keep every window sealed and every salt line intact until the sun rises. Safe dawn means you endure another night’s trial, until the next seasonal solstice or equinox when the danger may renew in a new form.

Complete tasks and break the curse

A local priest answers your call to aid in ridding the beast for good. For each night, follow his instructions to prepare a ritual that traps the creature, or choose to face the night alone and prioritize survival. Balancing tasks with vigilance is key—fuelling the ritual can change the odds, but neglecting your defenses can doom you to failure.
