False Flame description
False Flame — Description
You are the voice in the impostor’s head in a tense, single‑player betrayal game set amid a fragile colony. In False Flame, you must balance trust and treachery across a continuous day/night cycle: build influence by day, then outplay the Tribunal at night.
Dual‑body possession sits at the heart of your power. You control one Cultist directly while the other operates autonomously. Think like a puppeteer, guiding two marionettes with a single set of strings. Swap bodies to execute perfectly timed schemes, using text, voice, or button inputs to send discreet commands to your AI partner. All actions unfold offline with a fully scripted, responsive courtroom and narrative.
Build social capital, weaponize credibility by staying visible in public. Every alibi you craft, every relationship you sustain, feeds your credibility. When the moment comes, spend that credibility to unleash crimes that crumble others’ trust and leave the colony staring at anyone but you.
Your abilities span a dangerous repertoire:
- Stage convenient accidents that look accidental
- Plant rumors that escalate into someone else’s problem
- Sabotage the colony’s fuel, defenses, and economy
- Create distractions, then strike when witnesses can’t agree on what they saw
Every choice is a trade-off: seize power now and bear the costs later, or risk exposure to maintain control. Gaslight the Court as accusations hinge on memories, rumors, and relationships. Defend or denounce the accused to swing votes, then study who voted how and why. Learn the colony’s logic and exploit it on the next night’s moves.
Ascend through trust: the real value of a kill is not its ease but its disruption of trust. The more trusted the victim, the greater your ascension. Turn friends into trophies, but require patience—marinate the innocent over a run before pulling off the kill, or you may run out of time.
