Central to the experience are three distinct masks, each granting essential abilities and changing how you interact with the environment. Choosing the right mask at the right moment is vital, and success depends on teamwork as you balance risk and progress.

Masks and their roles

• Oxygen Mask: In zones where breathing underwater is restricted, this mask increases your oxygen level. It heightens your endurance, but it also narrows your field of view, demanding careful awareness and clear communication.
• Ghost Mask: Use this mask to evade invisible ghosts that haunt certain corridors. If you mistake or brush against them, you’ll have to restart from a recent point, so precision and timing matter.
• Puzzle Mask: This mask reveals hidden puzzle pieces and clues essential to advancing. It helps you uncover switches, hidden panels, and concealed paths that others can’t see alone.

As you progress through increasingly challenging mazes, you’ll encounter puzzles that only cooperative play can resolve. One player may need to illuminate a hidden mechanism with the Puzzle Mask while the other manages oxygen paths to keep both explorers safe. Hidden passages, pressure plates, and timing-based gates require synchronized actions and careful planning.
