• Terminal Interface: No menus or maps. Type commands to search, open, analyze, and decode. The interface is your field of view into a hidden world.
• σ Curvature System: Reading choices alter an irreversible metric that tracks how far events diverge from their original path. Three phases—Reversible, Critical, Irreversible—shift with every file you read.
• Clearance Levels: Begin at LEVEL 0. As you uncover cross-references and decrypt Valis ciphers, rise through six tiers to OMEGA, unlocking hidden “B-side” documents beneath the surface.
• Federation Threat Clock: The Silicon Federation monitors activity. Suspicious searches and unauthorized access raise the risk, and the system can push back when you push too far.
• Valis Encryption: Annotations and ciphers hide deeper truths. Crack them to reveal pathways and context concealed within the archives.
• Conspiracy Board: Pin entities, draw connections, and trace hidden relationships across the archive. The red threads illuminate what the documents alone cannot.

Endings shaped by your style

Your approach determines the outcome. Choose your path through the evidence to reach one of three conclusions:
