The Road

A co-op horror road trip where your car is your lifeline. Gather friends to drive into the unknown, raid abandoned locations, and escape before creatures, anomalies, or your own bad decisions strand you on the roadside. You operate out of run-down motels, part of the Artefact Recovery Program, and every trip tests teamwork, nerve, and a well-tuned car.

Drive to derelict places, load your vehicle with stolen goods, and race back to the motel to drop off the haul and claim your reward. Along the way you’ll explore a range of dangerous settings—derelict cinemas, forgotten summer camps, condemned industrial sites, and more—each hiding valuables and hazards in equal measure.

Successful artefact recoveries unlock payments and higher-stakes opportunities. Unsuccessful runs trigger consequences and an update to your emergency contact, reminding you that the road keeps its own score. Upgrade your car to endure tougher threats, from supernatural foes to brutal road hazards.

Form a crew of up to five players and tackle dangerous missions together. Keep your vehicle in peak condition as you navigate the open world, loot unique locations, and manage the car’s systems under pressure. Even if you fall, your voice isn’t silenced: communicate via proximity chat and walkie-talkies, and later haunt or chat through the car radio.
