S.A.M. Arena is a competitive online multiplayer arena battler where strategy, timing, and adaptation decide who survives. Players wield masks as both weapons and shields, shaping battles with quick decisions and careful reads of opponents.

In this arena, every fighter starts with three hearts. The goal is to outplay every rival and be the last one standing. The core combat relies on a rock–paper–scissors logic between mask categories, guiding how you attack, defend, and pressure your foes.

The main mechanic is simple: attack by shooting your currently equipped mask at an opponent. Doing so costs you your mask (it breaks). You can also search the arena to pick up other masks with distinct abilities, then swap to adapt your strategy on the fly. Mastery comes from knowing when to strike, when to retreat, and how to chain mask types to gain the edge.

The masks are organized into three categories, forming the acronym S.A.M. — Spirit, Animal, and Machine. Each category offers masks designed to chase, escape, control space, deceive, or pressure opponents. The interaction between categories creates the strategic triangle that drives every skirmish:

• Animals beat Spirits.
• Spirits beat Machines.
• Machines beat Animals.

Combat rules emphasize risk and timing. When you land a hit on an opponent, their current mask breaks. If you strike an opponent with a weaker mask than theirs, or if they have no mask at all, your hit also deals damage and they lose one heart. In practice, you must target opponents who are vulnerable—those with a weaker mask or unmasked—to actually reduce their lifepool, all while your own mask has just been sacrificed.

Strategic play revolves around mask collection, timing, and adaptation. Choose the right mask kit for the moment, anticipate opponents’ moves, and control space to force errors. With a diverse roster of masks across Spirit, Animal, and Machine, players tailor their approach to chase down others, escape dangerous situations, or pressure the field until only one emerges victorious.
