BATTLEDRIFT drops you into a dense space warzone where your ship is stranded and out of fuel. The only means to move is to blast your own artillery, converting recoil into propulsion as you slide, spin, and dart around the arena. In this quick, chaotic battleground you’ll go head-to-head with up to three opponents—either human players or ruthless CPU rivals—and fight for the last survivor badge.

Game modes include a challenging single-player campaign with multiple CPU difficulties, testing your reflexes, shooting timing, and kite-tricks as you learn the physics of recoil movement. For friends or a party, local multiplayer supports up to four players in one screen or couch-coop battles, with friendly competition over who can outmaneuver and outshoot the others.

On PC, you can play with a keyboard or gamepad; keyboard players can still join a 4-player match depending on keyboard size, while gamepad support makes it easy to jump into the fray. The core commands are simple: use the directional keys to steer using recoil, perform shots, and press Esc to pause. All menus and gameplay actions are approachable, with streamlined navigation so you can jump straight into the action.
