Surf Sandbox is a tiny, casual surfing experience that delivers with surprisingly realistic water physics. Start from a preset or plunge into the simulator to tune every detail of your wave—then paddle out on your longboard or other boards to ride. Whether you want a gentle ripple for a quick session or a powerful shorebreak that tests your balance, this sandbox is built for experimentation and relaxation.

The core of the game is its flexible wave system. In the Simulate mode you can adjust bottom contours, wave height, period, and frequency to sculpt an endless variety of swells. Tilt and twist the seabed, dial in the rhythm of the sea, and watch how the water responds. The result is a playground where you shape the conditions to match your mood, from mellow mornings to dynamic, crowd-free breaks.

Riding options cover a range of surfing styles. Choose from bodysurf, bodyboard, shortboard, or longboard and feel how each board interacts with the crafted waves. You might paddle out for a beginner-friendly ripple, attempt a high-performance line on a shortboard, or aim for a measured glide on a longboard. The physics are tuned to feel authentic, so every ride offers a distinct sensation and challenge.

Beyond riding, Surf Sandbox invites you to design your own corner of the coast. In the Design mode you can name your spot, restore the reef, plant vegetation, and make your break unique. Your choices influence the environment and give your wave a personal identity—perfect for sharing a favorite reef or testing restoration ideas in a playful setting.

A Desktop Mode lets you watch the waves break at the bottom of your screen while you work on other tasks. It’s ideal for multitasking sessions, casual daydreaming, or simply enjoying the scenery as you shape the sea in the background.
