Advanced technology, funded by the most daring patrons, has repurposed the Rotary Acquisition Terminal (R.A.T) from its original food-delivery task to a ruthless scrap-to-parts factory. By pulling scrap from wreckage and fallen foes, the R.A.T fuels a steady stream of modular components. Your objective is to assemble those parts into practical, battle-ready weapons. Each piece has a purpose—from plasma cores to coil springs—and every upgrade unlocks new offensive and defensive options in the field.

Once you have a supply of viable parts, head to the System Automated Weapon Designer (S.A.W.D). This workshop reshapes crude materials into tailored tools for scrap extraction and combat efficiency. The S.A.W.D calibrates your weapons for reliability, rate of fire, and ammo efficiency, turning raw salvage into decisive firepower. Use these tools to strip loot from dangerous creatures and hostile automatons, transforming battles into resource-rich opportunities rather than mere survival.

With your gear upgraded, you call in allies and visit the Mission Access Panel (M.A.P). The panel is your map and mission planner, plotting safe routes, hazard levels, and target zones for new scrap and research data. Each expedition into a fresh zone feeds your colony with rare materials, test data, and fresh challenges.
