Before every wave, you draw and execute a Command Card from your expanding deck. Each card grants you agency to influence the battlefield: you construct towers to stand as sentinels, lay down land tile by tile to carve the map, and set the terms of the encounter. With every expansion, the landscape bends in new, procedurally generated ways, spawning fresh paths and inviting new strategic opportunities. Your touch on the grid redefines how enemies approach your border and where you must defend most fiercely.

As your territory grows, hostile entities push at your boundary and strive to refold your Node back into nothingness. After every Incursion, you choose your next course: Continue expanding into the unknown and extend your influence across unfolding tiles, or Return to the Core Index to permanently defold new towers, unlock upgrades, secure starting resources, and unleash exponential powers. The Core Index acts as a meta-progression hub where your long-term strategy takes form and your capabilities become more pronounced with each reset or advance.
