Stolen Minds description
Stolen Minds – Description
Stolen Minds is a zombie horror RPG set in a cyberpunk city ruled by a General Purpose Artificial Intelligence. The AI’s rapid learning ability shapes the metropolis into a digital nightmare, and your mission is to halt its grip before humanity is erased. The game emphasizes tense gunplay and survival in a world where the enemy learns from your every move.
Gameplay
Experience a first‑person shooter core with 9 distinct weapons and a roster of 7 enemy types. Movement covers walking, sprinting, and jumping, with additional maneuvers planned through future equipment. The current level comprises two city blocks that spawn randomly, populated by loot containers and zombies. You can tune spawn amounts and select which zombie types appear to tailor the challenge, creating a dynamic battlefield that shifts each run. Enemies vary in speed, strength, and tactics, forcing you to adapt. The AI’s evolving knowledge drives real‑time difficulty, making strategic play and resource management essential as the city reconfigures around you.
Arsenal
Available weapons include the Pistol, Assault Rifle, and Shotgun. More arms are planned, such as Sniper Rifle, Bat, Spear, Grenade Launcher, RPG, LMG, SMG, Railgun, C4, Grenades, Sword, Hammer, Axe, and Bow. Durability is not used; weapon customization and attachments are slated for a future update. Planned workbenches and parts swaps will let you tailor recoil, accuracy, rate of fire, and handling to your play style, with attachments improving precision and tactics on the battlefield.
Equipment & Customization
Currently no equipment is implemented, but planned additions include AR headset, Auto Reloader, Exoskeleton, and Motion Sensors. Equipment systems will unlock new movement and combat options to tailor playstyle. Expect future features that enhance traversal and combat, such as equipment-driven movement boosts and sensor-based awareness that change how you approach encounters.
Enemies
The enemy roster features Standard, Sprinter, Bruiser, Bodybuilder, Marksman, Widow, Engineer, Trapper, Charger, and Hacker. Note that Hacker and Trapper are not functioning as intended and do not spawn for now. Approximately 15 additional enemy types are planned but kept secret to preserve surprises. Each type brings distinct behavior—fast skirmishers, heavy melee specialists, long‑range shooters, and trap setters—encouraging diverse tactics and weapon choices throughout your runs.
Resources & Healing
Each weapon uses a single ammo type, with no plans to diversify ammo. Ammunition spawns in loot crates and from fallen foes, promoting scavenging. A healing item exists that restores health over time; future updates may introduce buffs or alternative healing mechanics such as stacking heals or quick‑use medkits to sustain you through harsher encounters.
Story & Progress
The narrative is still being written and not yet in the game. There is no dialogue or character interactions at present; major updates will be marked by the addition of a complete chapter. Chapters can be retroactively updated and changed. Saves can be bugged, soft‑locked, or corrupted by updates—this project is developed by a solo creator, and progress reflects ongoing refinement. Enjoy the core gunplay now, and anticipate evolving chapters as the story unfolds.
