Overview

Forsaken Shores is a sandbox RPG that blends exploration, combat, and crafting across a sprawling island world. It offers Adventure and Survival modes, with multiplayer support to join friends or play solo. Expect large open spaces, dynamic encounters, and a deep progression system that rewards exploration and skill.

Game Modes

• Adventure mode: A town hub with Storage, Vendors, Quests, plus an Open World Boss and an island to explore.
• Survival mode: Build and endure in a large open world with a robust build system and upgradable structures.
• Multiplayer: Play with friends, bring your existing characters, or start fresh in a shared world.

Character & Customization

A rich character creator lets you choose gender, facial features, body color, eye color, lipstick, hair color, and armor style. Armor types—Light, Heavy, Leather, and Mage—shape your combat approach and survivability.

Combat

Engage with melee, archery, and magic, using a lock-on target system to simplify battles. Weapons include:

• Melee: Dual Daggers, Sword/Shield, War Hammer, Battle Axe, Great Sword, Spear
• Bow: Multiple arrow tiers and magical arrows (Fire, Ice, Electric, Explosive)

Magic comprises 50+ spells across categories such as fire, ice, dark, electric, poison, buffs, and healing, enabling varied play styles and strategies.

Crafting & Progression

Gather Stone/Ores, Wood, and monster drops to craft Potions, Food, Armor, and Weapons. Equipment features seven rarity levels (None, Uncommon, Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic). The game includes:

• 11 stone/ore varieties
• 6 wood variants
• 5 leather and fur variants

Explore, fight, and upgrade to access better gear and abilities as you push deeper into the world.

World & Exploration

Traverse a large open world with diverse biomes, vanquish enemies at camps and fortifications, and uncover caves and dungeons. The island setting emphasizes exploration, loot, and strategic combat against a range of monsters and world events.

Roadmap & Early Access (Highlights)

During Early Access, Survival becomes available, the level cap is removed, and multiplayer is released. Ongoing updates introduce new weapons and magic, AI improvements, more bosses and world bosses with unique loot, companions for hire, procedural dungeons, arena combat in Adventure mode, expanded character options, and a World Tier system that scales difficulty and loot.
