Firestorm description

Firestorm

Firestorm merges the strategic depth of a tabletop board game with the creative freedom of a deck‑building card game. Build your army by choosing a powerful blend of units, spells, and general chaos, then unlock improvements and select upgrades that steer your forces in the direction that fits your playstyle.

Design your strategy around your hand and your battlefield, adapting as you gain new cards and enhancements. The goal is to outthink and outmaneuver your opponents through careful composition, timing, and resource management. The game emphasizes accessibility—easy to learn, hard to master—while rewarding mastery as you unlock better options and refine your approach.

Multiplayer is at the heart of Firestorm. It natively supports Linux and Windows, and LAN multiplayer works with a single purchased copy. Up to eight players can compete head‑to‑head or form cooperative teams, with NPCs filling in to keep the action rolling. A simultaneous turn system minimizes idle time, so even large battles can wrap up in about an hour.

The game is developed as a labor of love by Meticulous Software LLC, a small indie team dedicated to delivering a polished, enjoyable experience. There are no ads, loot boxes, daily rewards, microtransactions, or DLC. No personal data or gaming telemetry is collected, and absolutely no AI was used for images, music, or any part of development.

During Early Access, features may be added or modified. The developers plan ongoing, free updates and invite players to explore a continually evolving experience. Firestorm aims to be easy to learn, difficult to master, and a joy to play with friends—offering strategic depth, rewarding customization, and fast, cinematic battles.
