GATHER YOUR LOOT

Loot is the engine of your progression. Equipment and items found in rooms or dropped by monsters form the core of your deck and your cat’s toolkit. Choosing the right loot to synergize with your selected cat and your evolving strategy is key to pushing deeper into the dungeon. Some gear boosts card draws, others strengthens attacks, and certain items unlock combo possibilities that can swing a fight in your favor. Build a coherent loadout that supports your plan, then adapt as new threats appear on deeper floors.

CHOOSE YOUR ENCOUNTERS

As a deck-builder, you control the cadence of danger. You create a pool of monsters you’re willing to face, and every normal room offers one random monster drawn from that pool. This lets you tailor resource flow and risk. Some foes guard powerful resources, others hit hard or manipulate the board in tricky ways. Compare the payoff of facing a sturdy monster against the potential waste of a badly matched encounter, and adjust your pool to favor the resources you need while keeping danger at a manageable level.

DESCEND THE DUNGEON

Progression hinges on defeating the boss quota on each level. When you meet the quota, you descend into a new biome with distinct visuals, layouts, and enemy mixes. Deeper floors bring unfamiliar challenges and fresh opportunities to discover rare loot and powerful combinations. The descent rewards experimentation and disciplined resource management, rewarding players who refine their deck and stay flexible as the dungeon reshapes itself.
