Profound Dark Feathers follows Lin Xingtong, a man overwhelmed by a string of tragedies who contemplates ending his life. A hidden resistance within his subconscious draws the attention of a deity, and divine grace intervenes to stop him. When he awakens, he sees Xingyu, a mysterious girl who claims to be born from the deity’s response to Lin’s longing and who declares herself meant for him. Yet Xingyu is tethered to danger—she covets Lin’s body and harbors deep malice. Despite this peril, Lin finds a glimmer of hope, believing that those blessed by the gods may have their wishes fulfilled, even as a terrible price unfolds.

Notes & Development

The game currently supports Simplified Chinese. In-game you can access settings from the top-right menu. Progress unlocks new music tracks, which can be enjoyed later in the Music Gallery on the title page. Subtitles are best kept at the default playback speed to maintain synchronization with visuals. Future plans include improving Live2D animations, refining story backgrounds and UI, adding branching options with multiple endings, and expanding other content within this universe.
