Moon Reader

Welcome to Luz Eterna, a neo-futuristic moon colony on the rim of the Shackleton Crater where the sun never sets. society is divided between utopian districts above an artificial Sea and crowded, pressurized depths below. In this world of information, you are the town’s Fortune Teller—though magic is merely entertainment, and information is power.

Role and AI companion

You don’t wield true foresight. You work with MACHI, a borderline-illegal AI created by your late father. As you shuffle the deck, MACHI scrapes a client’s bio-metrics, financial history, private logs, and whatever else it can find. Your readings are crafted from this borrowed data, presented as mysticism in a world that watches for truth or temptation.

Gameplay core

INFORMATION IS YOUR MAGIC. Use MACHI to match client data and decide how to guide or manipulate them. You can advise toward a better life or exploit beliefs to cover your own debts. The choice shapes the reading and the story that follows.

Reputation and choices

Clients talk, and Reviews directly impact the game. High accuracy and ethical readings attract better clients, while misdirection or skipped ethics can raise suspicion or boost short-term gains. You control who sits at your table—yet you can never please everyone.

Survival on the Moon

Life on the colony isn’t cheap. Balance time and money to pay rent, clear debts, keep the quality of your work, and maintain relationships that can lift you up or pull you under. Every decision about work, debts, and personal ties changes the path you walk.

Aesthetics and mood

Experience a 2.5D pixel art world that blends 3D environments with crisp 2D visuals, delivering a neo-futuristic cyberpunk atmosphere. Your choices drive a branching narrative: play your cards, set priorities, and watch how each decree reshapes the colony and your life.

Music and tone

The soundtrack, including compositions by Jay “Wrong Warp” Middle, underpins a hopeful yet morally charged experience. Moon Reader invites you to weigh charity against ambition and to decide what kind of fortune you want to offer a desperate world.
