Nexus Survivors description
Nexus Survivors
In Nexus Survivors, you don’t receive a ready-made fireball. You build it yourself—from cards that decide how it moves, what it does, and what happens when it hits. Every spell in your arsenal is your own creation.
Story
You are a Planeswalker—a traveler between dimensions. You have no idea how to get home. Across strange, hostile worlds you’ll face hordes of creatures eager to tear you apart. Your only edge: you can craft spells that would make an end boss cry. Find your way back—or at least die creatively trying.
Build Your Spells — The Core
Forget pre-made skill trees. here you assemble every spell yourself—with cards and experimentation.
- Step 1: Choose a Carrier — determines how your spell moves. Projectile, melee swing, area of effect, or a summon—your call.
- Step 2: Add Effects — fire, ice, poison, darkness, healing, and more. Mix and match as you please.
- Step 3: Optional Modifiers — boost damage, speed, or add homing. Fine-tune your spell to perfection—or beyond.
- Step 4: Chaining — this is where it gets wild. Add triggers to give your spell a second, even third layer. Each layer is its own spell, activated by events like On Hit, On Kill, or On Expiration.
Example: Layer 1 — Projectile + Fire + Homing + Multi-Shot = a homing fireball. Layer 2 (On Hit) — AoE + Nature = a toxic cloud at the impact point. Layer 3 (On Expiration) — Summon + Nature + Multiple = summons multiple bees to fight for you. One spell. Three layers. Total chaos.
Pre-built Classes — For a Quick Start
Prefer starting with a theme? There are ready-to-go spell decks. For example, the Zombie class is an undead warrior who slowly loses life energy but heals by killing enemies. Its starter spells include Plague Strike, Zombie Head Bomb, and Summon Zombie. You can customize everything—every card, every spell, every chain. A zombie that summons burning zombies which explode on contact? Easy. You can even make Plague Strike leave a poison cloud on kill that then summons skeletons. Technically possible. Go for it.
