This world is built around brands—marks that appear on the bodies of certain humans. Brands are usually hereditary and passed from parent to child, and those who bear them awaken powerful abilities that feel almost like magic. The presence of brands shapes identities, factions, and choices, weaving personal fate with political intrigue as Robell searches for answers about Arieno while navigating the obligations of military life.
