The Lost Shepherd description

The Lost Shepherd

Step into the worn boots of Atlas, a nomadic shepherd who loses their flock amidst the White Water Wars. With purpose eroded and the darkness pressing in, Atlas drifts into a chorus of recurring nightmares, seeking refuge and meaning. The journey unfolds like a classical play, guiding you through four acts that blend dream and memory as you uncover the war’s hidden truth.

To reconcile with a mysterious four‑headed beast, you must recover sacred artifacts scattered across four perilous domains: a carnivorous plant–infested meadow, unforgiving icy mountains, a ghost town fortress, and a surreal outer space where gravity and time bend. Each artifact ties a thread between past and present, restoring balance to Atlas’s fractured dreamworld.

Atlas is joined by Aries, an optimistic little blue sheep who believes in the power of grass. With Aries at your side, guide your flock to juicy grass patches that multiply your sheep, growing your herd as you press onward. Face corrupted creatures that threaten your flock, and defend them with a trusty shepherd’s sling—your tool for protection and resolve.

Harvest paint droplets from the grass patches and use them to repair broken passageways across the dreamscapes. Aries calls this act repainting what was broken by the war—a hopeful ritual that mends routes, reveals clues, and unlocks deeper layers of the nightmarish world, bringing you closer to the truth.

As you explore, you’ll encounter unexpected allies whose whispers and memories help Atlas recollect how the war began. The narrative unfolds through dialogue, choices, and evolving dreamscapes, inviting you to piece together the war’s origins and Atlas’s own purpose.
