Witch Switched

Witch Switched is a concise, character-driven kinetic visual novel about identity, desire, and magical mischief. Reese, a man uneasy with his life, escapes into yuri (F/F) stories on his laptop. On a crowded subway, Lucy—the witch with a mischievous streak—casts a spell that turns him into a woman so he can experience those stories in real life. The twist is exhilarating: Reese revels in his new body, discovering confidence, joy, and a new sense of self. Lucy, meanwhile, is stunned by how cute her spell has made him—and how much the world seems to open up when the mask comes off.

The journey that follows is short but emotionally dense: about 10,000 words, designed to be read in roughly an hour. The narrative unfolds in a linear, kinetic style, advancing through dialogue and scenes with limited branching. The English-language story anchors romance, self-discovery, and magical intrigue, inviting you to watch two very different people grow closer as they navigate the consequences of a spell that blurs boundaries between fantasy and reality.

Characters:

• Reese (the transformed self) begins as boisterous, outspoken, and protective of those he cares about. The change awakens a forceful, generous, and unapologetic version of himself who is ready to claim what he wants.
• Lucy is a mischievous witch and recent graduate of Magic Caster's University who seeks her footing in the world. Her spell catalyzes a romance she didn’t anticipate—one that challenges her own assumptions about power, responsibility, and belonging.

Themes and tone: Expect a blend of warmth, flirtation, wit, and heartfelt moments. Witch Switched braids together identity exploration, consent, and desire, with magical whimsy and a pinch of danger. It’s a story about choosing your path, embracing who you become, and finding connection in surprising places.

Content warnings: foul language, alcohol use, gender dysphoria and euphoria, occasional moth imagery. The plot focuses on romance and self-acceptance within a non-explicit, character-driven framework.

Ready for a short, intimate journey that turns a fantasy into a real-life connection? Witch Switched delivers a charming, thought-provoking experience in about an hour.
