Hungry For Loot invites you into the world of a small party of slimes marching through a winter-worn forest. Your goal is to gather food to feed your clan before the cold bites deep, all while defending your home from invading forces that threaten every hollow and branch you pass. The deeper you travel, the more you uncover about these invaders and the true danger they pose to the people of the forest.

This game blends a narrative-driven campaign with strategy-focused combat. You will travel from town to town, meeting residents, and marching through a largely linear storyline that is enriched by optional side quests. In towns you can speak with NPCs to learn lore, gather clues about the invaders, and pick up missions that lift the veil on what’s at stake beyond your immediate hunger.

Combat is turn-based and designed around thoughtful planning. As you move through battles, you must balance aggression with restraint, exploiting enemies’ weaknesses and reading the battlefield. The core twist comes from your slime party itself: each slime carries a unique ability, and those abilities shift and respond depending on what you feed them. Loot you collect on the road becomes power—consume the loot to power up your slimes, and watch their skills morph as you mix different foods. The result is a dynamic system where your feeding choices directly shape your squad’s tactics in battle.

Every slime in your party contributes something distinctive. Their powers react in surprising ways to the items you eat, creating emergent strategies as you experiment with different combinations. Hungry For Loot is currently in early development. Much of the art is early concept art and will be updated over time. Combat, balance, and other features are in active development, with major changes planned as the game evolves.
