GRUDGE is a first-person psychological horror experience where reality begins to fracture and the only way forward is to confront what hides inside the dark.

You wake in the middle of the night after a strange noise echoes through your house. At first the hallway is quiet, the lights flicker softly, and the home feels familiar. But something is different: shadows feel deeper, the silence grows heavier, and somewhere in the darkness something is watching. The atmosphere tightens as if the walls themselves are respiring, and you sense a presence that refuses to be trusted.

The core setting is a house that should not exist. What starts as a quiet night quickly spirals into a nightmare in which rooms appear where they shouldn’t, hallways stretch beyond reason, and doors materialize out of thin air. At the center stands a mysterious figure: a grotesque clown. Silent. Distorted. Watching. You don’t know what it wants, yet it seems to linger just out of reach, always present, always watching, shaping the danger you face.

Explore the nightmare The house acts as a central hub for the experience. Behind each mysterious colored door lies a different nightmare—each presenting its own mechanics, puzzles, and horrors to survive. Some challenges test your perception, forcing you to manipulate light, sound, or the layout itself. Others demand careful timing, stealth, or memory as you chase or evade threats. Every completed area reveals a fragment of a larger mystery and pulls you closer to the truth behind the house and its uninvited watcher.

Encounter landscapes that vary in tone and threat: some are quiet and oppressive, others disturbingly active, and some will hunt you through the corridors with relentless persistence. The environment responds to you as you play—doors shift, shadows move, and the clown’s presence can alter hazards and pacing. Progress hinges on solving environmental puzzles, collecting clues, and surviving encounters long enough to illuminate the story you’ve been trapped inside. The game rewards patient exploration, careful choice, and steady nerves as fear crescendos toward the core truth.
