Praise To The Moon

Praise To The Moon is a Metroidvania that blends the precise exploration of classic titles with the challenging pace of Souls-like games and the depth of ARPG systems. Drawing on the atmosphere of Momodora and Castlevania, it invites you to push through a world where courage, cunning, and careful planning decide who survives the night.

Explore an interconnected map rich with secret passages, dangerous foes, and tools that empower your path. Weapon systems can be found on the map or purchased, offering varied approaches to combat and traversal. Spells provide ranged or magical options to strike at enemies when melee is not enough.

The core systems center on rings and pacts. Unique rings can be equipped up to three at a time, granting distinct advantages and abilities to shape your build and tactics. The pact system adds another layer of depth: each pact carries a statistic that can help or harm you, forcing consequential choices that affect risk, reward, and playstyle.

Challenge a diverse bestiary of over 30 enemies and confront eight formidable bosses that test your timing, strategy, and resource management. Meet NPCs with lore and personality—some memorable for their arrogance—who reveal the world’s history and mysteries as you progress.

The game showcases beautiful 2D visuals paired with a haunting, atmospheric soundtrack produced by Crowxzz, SageLapis, NKR NAMKER, and ALQUI. Every area, creature, and encounter is designed to feel distinct within a world that rewards careful exploration and precise combat.

Lore and setting drive the mood. In 1721, a seemingly foolish prophecy about the festival of the smiling moon sparks a calamity. The moon begins to smile, gods and great lords awaken to wake the nobles, and a war erupts between gods and humans over who will rule the moon. As strange creatures emerge on the continent of Ehnegard, the festival draws hunters, black priests, wise mages, and occultists from across the world—pulling you into a fragile balance between power, fate, and survival.

Prepare to navigate peril, uncover secrets, and decide your fate among factions, pacts, and the guiding light of the moon.
