The full 3D world lets you stack buildings on the surface and above it. Gravity is unforgiving: if a structure falls, every building above slides down a floor. With 64 building slots and 33 floors, you have over 2000 slots to design towering harbors, sturdy towers, and bustling districts.

Choose from 33 different buildings and 33 relics, each serving a distinct purpose. Synergize items to craft your unique strategy—economy-focused, damage-oriented, RNG-driven, or even sacrificial plays at the Altar to bend fate in Bastion’s favor. The game rewards inventive setups and bold gambles.

The day cycle is rich and reactive: Sunrise lets you buy from the Workshop and manage Town Hall duties; Morning brings fishing and mysterious chests; Afternoon invites expeditions; Sunset unlocks relics at the Magic Shop; Evening restores citizens with fish; Night is for defending the Bastion. Each phase alters what happens and how you must respond, turning every day into a new challenge.

Open Edit Mode to design your Bastion in creative, funny, or unusual ways. You can chase hard goals or simply vibe—there’s room to experiment, optimize your economy, and push the game to its limits.

Naval threats and city management intertwine as you plan harbors, fleets, and coastal districts. The challenge scales with every day—craft crazy, effective combos to overcome escalating obstacles and protect your floating bastion.
