Within The Box is a first-person fantasy survival horror that blends tense exploration with brain-bending puzzles. You chase a rogue wizard and wind up trapped inside his pocket dimension, forcing you to outthink and outlast the dangers you find there.

Play as one of two distinct mages: Astair Volken, the eccentric yet studious spellcaster, or Zenner Jackson, the wise-cracking gunslinger who shoots first and asks questions later. Each character offers a unique perspective on the mystery and a radically different approach to combat and puzzle solving.

Your objective is simple in name but brutal in execution: navigate the tower Raven hid in, uncover the stolen documents from the Cypher, a local Magical Institution, and find a way out of the box. The pocket dimension is a shifting labyrinth of dark corridors, hidden rooms, and traps that force precise planning and quick thinking.

Core gameplay centers on first-person exploration, puzzle solving, and resource management. Puzzles demand more than brute force; you’ll need to leverage your magic, use the environment, and keep a tight rein on a limited inventory.
