Deponia

Immerse yourself in the whimsical world of Deponia, a fantastic comedy adventure game brought to life by Daedalic Entertainment, often dubbed "Lucasarts from Germany." Set in a dystopian universe where society has crumbled into a sprawling garbage dump, players follow the misadventures of the irritable protagonist, Rufus, who dreams of escaping his trash-laden existence.

Rufus longs to reach the affluent floating city above the clouds, and his fortunes appear to change when he encounters Goal, a beautiful woman from the upper world, who accidentally lands in his garbage-filled home. When Rufus discovers that her husband bears a striking resemblance to him, he concocts a clever plan to win her over and gain access to the city's utopia.

However, as Rufus navigates through bizarre puzzles and witty dialogues, he finds himself struggling with his feelings for Goal, leading to hilariously unpredictable situations. Deponia features unique hand-drawn HD graphics, an array of eccentric characters, and a charm reminiscent of works by Douglas Adams and Terry Pratchett. Can Rufus overcome his shortcomings and find true love?
