Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon - Golgotha plunges players into the chaotic aftermath of the 2nd War for Armageddon. While the Orks faced defeat, their ruthless warlord, Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka, vanished amidst the carnage. Dismissed by many in the Imperium, Thraka's survival was a grave mistake, as he sought to regroup and raise a new WAAAGH! on the planet Golgotha. The stalwart Commissar Yarrick, relentless in his mission, has finally tracked Thraka and is poised to confront him head-on.
This expansion, set 50 years after the monumental battles of Armageddon, invites players to command Imperial forces under Yarrickâs direction. They must secure a foothold on Golgotha, battling through Ork-infested territories. Players will primarily lead the esteemed 66th Mordian Infantry, bolstered by the Steel Legion's 117th Armageddon Mechanised Infantry. Notable units include Yarrick himself, who commands his iconic Baneblade tank, the Fortress of Arrogance.
