In Slain: Back from Hell, you take on the role of Bathoryn, a cursed hero navigating a dark and Gothic world. Your mission is to liberate six haunted realms from six terrifying overlords. As you traverse this perilous land filled with grotesque pixel art adversaries, you will engage in visceral battles against both fiendish traps and abhorrent monsters.

Each realm culminates in a fierce boss fight that determines your fate—defeat the overlords to continue your quest, or face gruesome deaths at the hands of werewolves and other menacing creatures. To succeed, you must master three elemental weapons, exploiting enemy vulnerabilities through strategic combat and swift weapon-switching. Additionally, mastering enemy patterns and trap timings is crucial, as is the judicious use of your Mana.
