In the dystopian world of Sky Break, humanity faces a dire threat from a rapidly spreading virus. The only hope lies in the unique flora of Arcania, a planet once utilized for human space colonization, now abandoned due to hostile drones. You play as one of the researchers dispatched to uncover a cure, but disaster strikes when your spaceship crashes upon arrival.

Survival is key as you navigate the harsh elements of Arcania. The mechas that inhabit the planet are formidable foes; however, you possess the ability to hack and command some of them, turning potentially deadly machines into your allies. As you engage in combat and explore the environment, you earn fragments to enhance both your character and the mechas' abilities.

The planet itself is a perilous landscape, with weather phenomena like lightning strikes and tornadoes posing constant threats. To advance, you must restore old installations to control the storm, while seeking refuge in an abandoned station high above the clouds. With your spaceship at your disposal, the road to escape changes as you unlock weather controllers to traverse the dangerous terrain, bringing hope to a bleak future.
