Aiko's Choice: A Standalone Expansion

Aiko's Choice is an exciting standalone expansion to the acclaimed stealth tactics game, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, set against the backdrop of the early Edo period in Japan. This expansion delves into the story of Aiko, a kunoichi adept known for her mastery of camouflage and deception, often disguising herself as a Geisha to mislead her enemies. After believing her tumultuous past was behind her, Aiko is confronted by her former sensei, Lady Chiyo, a cunning spymaster who re-emerges from the shadows.

Players will control a team of five unique assassins, including Aiko herself, as they navigate through intricately designed missions filled with challenging enemies. Each character brings distinct abilities to the table—Hayato, the agile ninja; Mugen, the powerful samurai; Yuki, the resourceful young thief; and Takuma, the wise marksman with his loyal companion, Kuma.

With multiple gameplay options, players can strategize how to approach infiltrating enemy camps or bustling Edo towns—whether through silent takedowns or distractions. The game features three main missions in new environments, as well as interlude missions, all while retaining the core mechanics from the original title.
