In the vast expanse of a galaxy filled with terraformed planets, an intense conflict unfolds between two powerful factions. The nefarious agency known as ARCHON has crafted a technology capable of invading the minds of individuals, having already subjugated the planet Teballai. Their objective is to extend this mind-control power throughout the galaxy. Opposing them is the FOE (Freedom Organization of Elites), dedicated to dismantling ARCHON's oppressive technology in the name of individual freedom.

Players take on the role of Blaire, a young FOE soldier whose gender is chosen by the player. Following an ARCHON experiment, Blaire acquires the unprecedented ability to read minds, placing her at the center of this moral conflict. With her newfound power, players navigates through a rich narrative without traditional forced choices. Instead, Blaire's ability to tap into the thoughts of those around her becomes the sole interaction with the story, influencing how she engages with the world and how others respond to her actions.
