Originally created for the 7DRL 2014 competition, Mysterious Space invites players to embark on an adventure through the enigmatic ZZ-Omega sector. Your mission is to uncover a vital piece of information and return safely with it. Along your journey, you will need to explore a variety of procedurally-generated planets, such as lush forest worlds, arid deserts, icy landscapes, and molten lava terrains to gather fuel crucial for your spacecraft.
Prepare for battle by equipping yourself with an array of procedurally-generated weapons, shields, armors, and accessories designed to combat the menacing foes you encounter. The game also features local co-op gameplay, allowing up to five players to join forces. Discover and collect "Alien Artifacts" and "Advanced Technology," which introduce a rogue-like element reminiscent of potions and scrolls, each with varied effects that could either benefit or hinder your progress.
With an engaging soundtrack by DDRKirby(ISQ), Mysterious Space promises a captivating experience filled with exploration, combat, and strategic decision-making in an ever-changing universe.
