KeeperRL is a retro-inspired dungeon simulator that seamlessly blends classic gameplay with roguelike and RPG elements. As an evil keeper, you will excavate and construct a formidable dungeon while recruiting a variety of malicious minions to carry out your sinister plans. Strategically train and equip your minions for battle against the forces of good, engaging in tactical combat where every action influences the outcome.

Delve deep into the mountains to create a multi-layered fortress complete with sleeping quarters, training rooms, and crafting stations. Guard against invading heroes with clever traps and choke points, ensuring your dungeon remains secure. Choose from up to nine unique factions, including Dark Wizards and Goblin Kings, each providing distinct gameplay styles and challenges.

With a procedurally generated world teeming with treasures and peril, every adventure unfolds uniquely. The game features dynamic Z-level architecture, allowing you to expand your dungeon vertically. You can also explore dungeons created by other players via the Steam Workshop, lending an endless variety to your gameplay experience.
