199X: A Narrative Adventure

In 199X, you step into the shoes of Clara, who is grappling with her perceived delusions. As the story unfolds, Clara and the player must navigate the intricate and often messy personal relationships within the town of Delilah. Your mission is clear: explore the town, uncover the truth behind Clara’s reality, and seek a cure for her predicament—all while managing the challenges of her social landscape.

This engaging adventure spans approximately 2-3 hours and is divided into seven playable days, each presenting unique narrative choices and emotional depth. Crafted by writer Evan Tognotti, 199X is accompanied by a full-length original soundtrack by the quirky acoustic artist Kearney, adding an immersive auditory experience.

While some might critique it for its simplicity—a focus on narrative over mechanics—199X challenges players to delve into the complexities of Clara’s world. Join Clara on her journey, help her confront the doubts surrounding her, and experience a story that transcends typical gaming narratives.
